Privacy Policy

Who we are

Cambridge Recheck is a web tool by AIDE AI ("we", "us"). It re-grades a student's uploaded Cambridge International exam script against the official question paper and marking scheme and gives a second opinion on whether a formal recheck is worth the fee. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. Questions? Email hello@learningaide.ai.

What we collect

Account details: your name and email address (via Google sign-in or email sign-up) and, if you provide one, your phone number.

Check inputs: the scans or photos of your written script that you upload, the subject, paper variant and official mark you select, and any question paper and marking scheme you upload for an unlisted paper.

Check outputs: the AI-generated mark, verdict and report produced for your script.

Usage data: referral attribution (a ?ref= value stored in a cookie so sign-ups can be attributed to the link you came from) and your light/dark theme preference stored locally in your browser.

How we use it

To grade your script and produce your report. Your uploads are processed by our AI grading system together with the official marking scheme for the paper you selected.

To show your past checks in My rechecks, tied to your account.

To operate payments: the first check on an account is free; additional checks are paid per check through our payment gateway.

To provide support when you contact us, and to understand aggregate usage of the tool (for example, how many visitors came from a shared link).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: Google (sign-in authentication), our payment gateway (billing), and cloud infrastructure providers (storage, email and hosting). We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and deletion

Your checks are stored against your account so you can reopen them later. You can delete any check yourself from My rechecks; deleting a check removes its report permanently. To delete your account or ask about anything we hold, email hello@learningaide.ai and we will action it.

Cookies and local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in (essential; without it the tool cannot associate checks with your account), a cookie to attribute sign-ups to a referral link, and browser local storage to remember your signed-in name between visits and your theme preference. We do not run advertising trackers.

Your responsibilities

Only upload scripts you have the right to share — your own, or your child's/student's with their knowledge. Do not upload anyone else's work without permission.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially we will update this page. The date below reflects the latest revision.
